Hallie Jones holds a degree in English Literature from UCLA and brings more than 25 years of leadership in nonprofit management and environmental conservation. Deeply committed to inspiring people to protect our oceans and open spaces, she spent over a decade advancing marine conservation at Heal the Bay before returning to Laguna.

Raised in Laguna Canyon, Hallie later served for 10 years as Executive Director of Laguna Canyon Foundation, stewarding the very lands that shaped her childhood. In 2023, she became Executive Vice President of Crystal Cove Conservancy, uniquely uniting her expertise in both ocean and land conservation.

Hallie serves on the board of the Natural Communities Coalition, is an Orange County Parks Commissioner, and sits on the Parks Trails Subcommittee for Supervisor Katrina Foley. An avid hiker, trail runner, and camper, she shares her love of the outdoors with her two children and their Labrador retriever. Her lifelong dedication to Laguna—its community, arts, and irreplaceable natural resources—makes her service on the City Council especially meaningful and impactful.
